Approaching Mont St Michel by the coast road we get glimses of the far off mount through clumps of trees and buildings. Each time we see it anew it grows untill finally it towers over us.
To recreate the approach pilgrims had in the middle ages one should walk across the bay from Genets, but don’t try it with out a guide.
